Reading are to meet old foes Marlow in the 2024 Berks & Bucks Senior Cup final next month following their victory over MK Dons Under-21s.

For the second season running, Marlow are in the showpiece occasion as Bracknell Town lifted the trophy last season.

Veteran Dave Tarpey bagged a brace and Kai Hamilton-Olise and Dawid Rogalski both netted as the Blues ran out 4-2 winners at Oak Tree Road.

Reading defeated Flackwell Heath on penalties in their semi-final, with Arbour Park hosting the final in May- a repeat of the first-ever Senior Cup final back in 1879.

Marlow knocked Noel Hunt's Royals out in last year's semi-final, with Reading looking to avenge last year's exit.

Marlow boss, Mark Bartley, commented: "Great performance tonight to book our place in the final. We were disciplined without the ball, and that set the foundation for some decisive and ruthless attacking play. We'll enjoy the final when it comes around, but for now, our minds are solely on the playoffs."

Reading Women Under-21s won their Berks & Bucks Cup with a win over MK Dons last month.
