Reading have had interest from Plymouth Argyle in star attacker Femi Azeez on deadline day.

The winger has found form in recent months, picking up 10 goal contributions in 28 League One appearances this season.

A regular since making the step up from the Academy in 2021, the wide-man is a fan favourite.

However, the 22-year-old is out of contract in the summer and interest higher up the football ladder could be tempting.

According to Football Insider, Championship side Plymouth Argyle are looking to swoop on deadline day, with the window slamming shut at 11pm tonight.

The Reading Chronicle understand the club are determined to keep the winger, lauded as a key star who will be crucial in keeping the club in League One.

Tom McIntyre, Nelson Abbey and Nesta Guinness-Walker have already left, with Caylan Vickers and Taylan Harris set to follow today.
