Reading are set to receive an additional set of tickets for their FA Cup second-round trip to Eastleigh, the hosts have confirmed.

A first-ever competitive meeting with the Spitfires, just 800 tickets were initially awarded for the match on Sunday, December 3.

However, in a statement released by the fifth tier side, 'Having adjusted the ground layout, it has resulted in more tickets being available for both home and away supporters.'

Tickets are not yet on sale for Royals fans, first going up on Monday at 10 am for supporters with 16000 loyalty points.

A new total is yet to be announced, but the Reading Chronicle understand it will take the total to in excess of 1,000 for the meeting with the non-league outfit.

Expecting to sell-out fast, the match is also being broadcast live on ITV1, with kick-off scheduled for 1.30 pm.
