Reading will be without Charlie Savage and Amadou Mbengue for tomorrow's trip to Shrewsbury Town, with both serving suspensions.

Mbengue was given a straight red card after the final whistle of last month's 3-2 defeat to Portsmouth, while Savage picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in Tuesday's draw with Bristol Rovers.

Both are in line to return to action on Tuesday when Arsenal's Under-21s complete the Royals' EFL Trophy group.

Take a look at Ruben Selles' injury update below, taken from last week's press conference:

Mamadi Camara

"He had a problem and didn’t train the two after the game. His fever came back, and he needed to stay at home."

Tom Holmes

"He played with the Under-21s in the week and should be ready to play for us on Saturday."

Caylan Vickers

"He has been out of the League One squad in the last three or four games, he played in the cup when we made our rotation. I have been trying to be consistent with 80 per cent of the team, but when we made the selection, we tried to have some options. I cannot have three strikers on the bench and unfortunately, we decided to go with Dom and Kelvin. Caylan is working hard but we cannot have 22 players on the bench.

Ovie Ejaria

"He had this when we arrived at the club, he was injured. He has been injured until the end of September, so we have been building him up with the Under-21s," he said ahead of the FA Cup tie with MK Dons.

"I am waiting for him to get his form and be able to play games and then I will decide. He needs to show his best. Right now, he is not injured he is building up form to be able to play. He needs to show that he wants to play for us and is fully ready. He needs to show that he wants to play and do things for this football club.

"He needs to be fully fit to play football matches and when we have decided that he is fully fit we will review the parameters of commitment. He will play if we decide he will play. He needs to show a lot if he wants to play for me."
