Reading midfielder Michael Craig will make his first league start against Charlton Athletic, as Ruben Selles makes three changes.

With five away defeats out of five, and over 300 days since the last league win on the road, pressure is on for the Royals to break their duck.

Almost 3,000 fans are travelling from Berkshire for what looks set to be the final London trip of the season, with another 1,200 at the 2-1 defeat to Leyton Orient earlier in the month.

Coming off the back of an international break, Selles has made three changes.

Charlie Savage, who made his full Wales debut last week, drops to the bench in place of 20-year-old Craig, who has only played five minutes of League One action this season.

Fellow internationals Nelson Abbey and Tyler Bindon start, while Dom Ballard and Ben Elliott are on the bench.

David Button remains in goal, behind Abbey, Bindon, Nesta Guinness-Walker and Harlee Dean.

Craig, Lewis Wing, Femi Azeez and Harvey Knibbs take up the midfield, with Sam Smith making his second debut after suffering with injury up front.

Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan partners him, making a full Academy strikeforce.

Caylan Vickers, Elliott and Ballard provide threat from the bench.

Charlton, unbeaten in their last six, have three former Royals starting.

Michael Hector, Terrel Thomas and Tennai Watson all start for Michael Appleton's Addicks.
