Nottingham Forest are 'expected' to loan out popular former Reading loanee, Tyrese Fornah, according to national reports.

Fornah, who spent time in the Royals' youth set-up as a youngster, played 35 times while on loan under hero Paul Ince.

Still under contract with Premier League Forest, the 22-year-old has only made four first-team appearances for the Tricky Trees.

According to Darren Witcoop of the Sunday Mirror, Fornah is joined by Jonathan Panzo, Alex Mighten and George Shelvey in being 'expected to leave on loan.'

It is not thought that Ruben Selles and Reading will go back in for the youngster, despite being popular among supporters and stating his desire to make his temporary switch a permanent one last season.

Speaking back in February, he said: "I would love to if it was down to me," the former Shrewsbury Town loanee said. "I’d sign now. There’s a bigger picture and it’s between the two clubs, but I do hope my future is here long-term. We will see. I’m not thinking about it now, that’s for the summer."

Reading are yet to use any of their loan spots in the current window, despite being only limited to free agents and loan deals.

Six players were on temporary deals last season, meaning one had to sit out every week due to the five loan player per squad rule.
