A local hairdresser says that her salon window has been kicked in by vandals every year since the pandemic.
She said that this has consistently happened within the period from Christmas Day to New Year’s Eve.
Owner of Kool Kidz Kutz Hayley Louise Wall took to social media recently to express her outrage for the ongoing vandalism of her business.
In a Facebook post she wrote “This happened to Kool Kidz Kutz again in between Christmas and yesterday.
“Shame on the people who think they can just go around vandalising businesses for kicks. Every year since covid this has happened. We need better CCTV on the streets in our community.”
Kool Kidz Kutz is a hair salon specifically for children with brightly coloured walls, toy car chairs in front of the mirrors, and rainbow signage outside the front of the store.
This news comes as other businesses in Reading were recently vandalised over the New Year period.
As previously reported, three men have been arrested after the window of Footasylum was damaged early on New Year's Day.
Amid New Year's celebrations, Thames Valley Police received a report of a burglary at the premises at around 12.50 am on Monday, January 1.
