Works have begun to remove the pop-up bar at The Oracle following extensive flooding on Riverside.
After Storm Henk and Storm Gerrit brought heavy rainfall to areas throughout the UK over the last couple of weeks, water levels have increased.
Initial flooding began yesterday (2/1) as both sides of the River Kennet at the shopping complex were submerged in water.
A white van was spotted on site this morning with workers dismantling the pop-up site.
Flooding at the Apres bar appears to have worsened. The huts, built for people to enjoy the festive season are submerged in water.
The area closed for the final time following the New Year’s Eve celebrations.
The effects of Storm Henk appear to be having a continued effect throughout the UK.
