A Berkshire girl has recently played the role of young Kate Middleton in the new season of the Crown.
Meg Bellamy has recently taken to TikTok to discuss how she went about perfecting Kate’s voice.
In the video interview with Vogue she states that as both she and Kate grew up in Berkshire they both have similar accents, but she did have to practice with a vocal coach to fully perfect the Princess of Wales’ voice.
As reported on in Tatler, with her gorgeous tumble of brunette locks, love of lacrosse, and ‘born with it’ natural beauty, Bellamy is perfect for her role as the Princess of Wales.
They were both brought up in Berkshire and were ‘enthusiastic all-rounders at school’.
As reported on by Style, Bellamy told The Sunday Times that she was working as a mascot at Legoland when she found out that she’d gotten the part of Kate Middleton.
She said: “I felt my phone ringing in my pocket and knew it was [producer of the show] Kate [Bone] because I’d been expecting her call for days.”
“Eventually I got out of my costume and rushed to the delivery car park, which is quite scuzzy, all the delivery lorries are beeping and reversing in, to phone her back.”
