STUDENTS in Reading were celebrating A Level results day on Thursday, August 17.
Reading schools were sharing success stories as Year 13 students received their results, getting into University and securing apprenticeships.
Proud headteachers across the town praised students for "incredible" results and overcoming a challenging few years.
Speaking to students on Thursday, John Salberg, principal at The Wren school said: "Today does not define you or where that journey takes you. Own it & go grab your future!"
Head of School at UTC Reading, Jennie Thomson, said it was "a good day for UTC Reading" as students "achieve great things after all their hard work".

Students were also keen to share their feelings on results day. Suzanne from Pangbourne College said: "I’m feeling relieved and also overwhelmed, but very happy! I’m really looking forward to studying English and Classics at Bristol."
