THE iconic Flying Scotsman made its way through Berkshire on a journey to mark its 100th birthday.
Steaming through the county on June 21, the Flying Scotsman was on its second visit to Berkshire this month.
Its first trip, 'The Cardiff Express’ train, set out from London Paddington and stop at Slough and Reading en route for Cardiff, on June 7.
Again, departing from London Paddington, the train's journey on June 21 stopped at Slough and Reading as it steamed onto Salisbury.
Reading Chronicle Camera Club members shared their photos of the iconic locomotive on its way to Salisbury.
The famous steam train was dubbed the Flying Scotsman as it was officially the first locomotive to reach 100mph, operating the daily 10.00am service between London King’s Cross and Edinburgh Waverley.
