A mysterious blue light seen in the early hours of the morning has got people speculating across Reading.
The strange blue glow was spotted moving in Woodley on Saturday morning (March 12).
Aliens is the first theory offered up on social media – with the odd comment about it being a Batman logo or from Network Rail.

Dan Taylor spotted the strange light in the sky.
He posted on social media: "During my early morning exercise I keep seeing weird blue lights in the sky… these photos were taken a few weeks apart the first is in Woodley the second one in Sonning. Does anyone know what they are?"
It remains a mystery as to what the blue lights are - which are seen every now and then over Reading.
In November 2021, residents said they spotted a 'strange flying object' as a 'UFO was seen above Tilehurst'.
