A MASSEUR who sent a husband raunchy photos of his wife when a five-year affair fell apart was jailed for two years on Wednesday.

Evans Goddard handed an envelope of 31 sordid pictures to the husband on April 11 2015 after embarking on the affair in 2009.

He met his victim, who can't be named for legal reasons, when she responded to his advert as a masseur.

During their fling the 56-year-old took sexual photos of her and placed a photo of the two of them in a magazine looking for new partners.

Taking the stand on Tuesday, September 20, she said: "There was one swingers' place the he made me attend. It was not my idea to go to the swingers' place. It wasn't my suggestion.

"He sent me multiple texts demanding photos from me. The texts were threatening if I didn't send them."

"I never gave consent. I was told to shut up and look at the camera.

"I was threatened and coerced. Those photos were taken by way of threats and demands.

"I can only remember the photos being taken in one place, in Mr Goddard's home. None were taken at my home address."

During the three-day trial a jury of five men and seven women heard Goddard's friend approached the husband as he left for work and tried to hand over the photos to him.

The husband blocked Goddard's car in and called the police who arrived and confiscated the unopened envelope.

Lisa Goddard, prosecuting, requested the photos be destroyed after the hearing.

Amer Asghar, defending said Goddard hadn't meant to cause distress by sharing the photos.

"He has family commitments outside the courtroom," he said.

"Including caring for his 79-year-old mother with sever diabetes awaiting the amputation of her foot."

Recorder John Gallagher said: "you told the court you had good morals as a man and a Christian and the bible says to love your enemies but it also says don't commit adultery."

Sentencing he added:"During the conduct of your relationship you behaved in the classic ways of a pimp.

"When she found the courage to resist you shared the photos in an attempt to get her back or get your own back on her."

Goddard, of Granville Road, Reading admitted breaching a non molestation order and was convicted after two hours and 20 minutes of deliberation of disclosing sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress.

He was jailed for two years, handed an indefinite restraining order not to contact his victim, her husband or her children and ordered to pay a £140 victim surcharge. The photos were destroyed.
